Karoll AD with the highest number of trades executed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange for 17th year in a row

For the 17th consecutive year in its history Karoll has been awarded the annual prize for “Investment intermediary with the highest number of trades executed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE)”. The intermediary realized 34,408 transactions or over 31% of all operations on the regulated market for 2018.

2018 was significant for Karoll because of an additional achievement. For the first time in its history, Karoll ranked in the top 3 investment intermediaries with highest turnover from trades, worth nearly BGN 77 million or 7% of the total turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

The successes of Karoll for 2018 are even more valuable because they come against the background of a difficult for our capital market year. In 2018, the leading stock index of BSE - SOFIX, reported a decrease of over 12%, which led to a decrease of 28% in the trading turnover to BGN 550 million , supplemented by a 32% decrease in the number of transactions.
